The first 20 pages (out of 36) cover basic dressing your kid and skiing safety - which is all fine. The introduction takes pains to say that the book is meant to a companion to ski lessons a|About the Author|Amy S. McKearney taught skiing and snowboarding for over ten years at a Connecticut ski area.  She was certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI). 

This book is a tool for parents, grandparents, and caregivers to help guide them on teaching skiing to young children. This book will work in combination with a child in a ski lessons and give the parents the knowledge to practice skiing with their child while not in a lesson.
